Removes a plain, single-colour background, such as a white wall or a flat blue backdrop, and gives you a PNG with a transparent background. It is not AI: it clears the connected area close in colour to the point you click, entirely in your browser.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose an image. The tool starts automatically from the top-left corner colour.
  2. Click on the background in the image to pick its colour if the corner is not background.
  3. Move the "Sensitivity" slider until the background disappears and the edges look clean.
  4. Click "Download PNG" to save no-background.png.

FAQ

Does it work on any photo?

No. It works well only on plain backgrounds. Busy scenes like a street, a room or strong shadows will not give a good result.

Why is part of the background still there?

Only the area connected to the clicked point is removed, so enclosed gaps, such as between an arm and the body, may remain. Each new click starts over from the new point.

What does sensitivity do?

Higher values remove colours further from the picked one. Too high, and similar colours in the subject vanish too.
